“Cute Tanpopo quote here”

I began reading Magical Girl Dandelion on the VIZ app in February and quickly became infatuated. I hadn’t loved a magical girl series this much since Sailor Moon, and I wanted to run around in this fluffy costume as soon as I saw the first transformation panel.

Tanpopo has a lot of fun garment shapes and even more reference images, so patterning the tailcoat was my biggest task with this project. I wanted to stay as true to the manga as I could while giving her design enough movement for the stage and I am happy in the position where this cosplay landed.
